• Operations Assistant (Part-Time, Contractor)

    • Location: Nanaimo, BC (In-Person Required)

    • Contract Type: Independent Contractor - This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a small, passionate team. Since this position is contract-based, you'll have the freedom to manage your own schedule while helping our business grow. You’ll need to have (or be willing to get) a simple business number, which allows us to work together in a way that gives you more flexibility and independence.

    • Hours: Flexible, Part-Time 8-10h/week (Weekend availability required for markets and events)

    • Pay: Starting at 18$/h

  • We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our female-run, holistic skincare business. This role blends hands-on production work, customer service, sales support, and administrative tasks. You will play a key role in keeping the business organized and running smoothly while embracing the values of clean beauty, holistic wellness, and cycle-based work flexibility.

  • Operations & Administrative Support

    • Organize and maintain workspace, inventory, and product storage

    • Process invoices and track orders for wholesale and direct customers

    • Manage order pickups and shipping logistics

    • Assist with bookkeeping and record-keeping tasks

    Manufacturing & Product Support

    • Assist with labelling, packaging, filling, cutting soap, and assembling orders

    • Keep shelves and product displays organized and fully stocked

    • Support production with batching, prepping ingredients, and workspace cleanup

    Customer Service & Sales Support

    • Engage with customers at markets, pop-ups, workshops, and during pickup hours

    • Be passionate and knowledgeable about our products to better serve our customers

    Marketing & Event Assistance

    • Help set up and run markets, workshops, and promotional events

    • Assist in social media management, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers

    • Support with content creation and filming for social media

    • Assist with UGC applications and onboarding process

    • Passionate about clean beauty and holistic wellness – believes in natural products and a holistic approach to health

    • Self-starter and problem solver – takes initiative, is resourceful, happy and comfortable to work independently, and finds creative solutions

    • Has access to a car for occasional pickups and deliveries

    • Available on weekends for markets and events (mainly during holiday season)

    • Organized and detail-oriented – enjoys structure, efficiency, and maintaining records

    • Must be a registered independent contractor with a valid business number (or be willing to get one, it’s super easy)

    • Able to work on-site in Nanaimo, BC

    • Comfortable with light physical tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods)

    • Must have a drivers license and access to their own vehicle
